Parmesan corn on the cob

Smoky parmesan corn on the cob is the perfect vegan/vegetarian side dish. The corn is coated in spices then grilled (or roasted) until deliciously smoky.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 corn on the cob
  • 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • black pepper
  • flaky salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • parmesan for grating on top
  • fresh herbs

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the spices together, add olive oil, lemon juice and maple syrup
  • Whisk it together
  • Brush the corn with prepared dressing making sure that is coated on all sides
  • Cook on the barbecue or under the grill till golden and tender(mine took about 20 minutes)
  • Grate parmesan on top and sprinkle with herbs if desired.
