Easy and Delicious Balsamic Tofu

Crispy balsamic tofu is a quick and delicious meal. This recipe is vegan, gluten-free, high in protein and perfect for meal prep. Also, it will take you less than 20 minutes to make it!

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt, pepper


  • Whisk all the ingredients for the marinade
  • Slice the tofu and gently toss it in the marinade¬†
  • If the time allows leave it to soak up the flavour for 15-30 minutes(you can do it the night ahead)
  • When ready to cook, preheat the pan on the medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil and add tofu slices
  • Fry on one side till golden then flip it to another side and cook it for extra 30 seconds
  • Serve straight away or save for later
